Vision

The aim is to strength the link cooperation and coordination between the International Cooperation Office and the administrative, financial, academic and research units of the university. It also to ensure the necessity of successfully implementing the university's international cooperation programs and increasing its competitiveness at all  local, regional and international levels.

Mission

The message seeks to enhance and activate the external relations of the university with similar foreign universities, as well as with regional and international organizations and bodies related to higher education institutions for scientific research to achieve the aimed goals.

 

Tasks

1. To prepare memorandums and agreements to be signed with the counterparts foreign universities in coordination with the official authorities of the state, as well as following up the implementation procedures for all these programs.

2. To participate managing the executive programs of the agreements and memorandums signed between the university and its counterparts universities in coordination with the relevant academic and research units.

3. To follow-up the implementation of joint international projects implemented for the benefit of the university and emanating from the official cooperation programs between Libya and international and regional bodies.

4. To suggest programs and ways that support the university and its regional and international position.

5. To prepare and coordinate delegations representing the university in the international official forums with the competent authorities of a regional and international nature.

6. To Manage and follow-up of programs for students' affairs abroad emanating from the university's bilateral agreements or provided through international competitive programs.

7. To communicate with international and regional organizations related to the university, and coordinate with them regarding participation in its university activities.

8. To prepare for conferences, seminars, workshops, meetings and exhibitions held by the university in the presence of foreign delegations.

9. To supervise the participation of external universities related to various cultural and scientific activities.
